The Viking Project e46 BMW Touring Part 2
You’re probably wondering why the build is called the Viking project. I moved from the vibrant landscapes of South Africa to the white terrains of Norway. I was captivated by the resilience of the Vikings. In the same way, I found an e46 that I wanted to resurrect to its former glory like the Vikings. I’m not too familiar with the ins and outs of building a car so I compare my journey to the Vikings which navigated the seas to new horizons.
This build symbolizes the journey with my car and in my own life.
Ok back to what’s happening with the car. I was able to find almost all my parts for the Viking project.
Big shout out to Boss Auto Spares and Euro Parts. Between them, I was able to find all the parts for the Viking project.
This is what I decided to do on the car:
- Major service: oil, plugs, filters, brakes, transmission and all belts
- Suspension: Both control arms
- Pipes: I want to change all the pipes on the car because they look like they have seen better days
- Steering wheel: I have gotten the sport tech steering wheel. I looked at the M3 steering but it will not fit in with the theme I have in mind.
